Peanut Butter Chia Overnight Oats (Pre-Op)

INGREDIENTS:
- Rolled oats, uncooked - 1/3 cup (32 grams)
- Chia seeds - 1 tbsp (12 grams)
- Peanut butter - 1 tbsp (16 grams)(see nutritionist notes below)
- Agave syrup - 1 tsp (7 grams)
- Soy milk, unsweetened - 1/2 cup (120 grams)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Add all the ingredients to a medium-sized mason jar or sealable bowl. Seal and shake for 20-30 seconds. Make sure everything gets mixed properly.
- Place in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 2 hours.
- Enjoy when ready!
*Note: Stays fresh in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.

Nutritionist notes: Make sure the peanut butter you buy has no added oils or sweeteners. The ingredients list on the nutrition label should only say roasted peanuts. If it has a bit of salt that is ok. Please note that this recipe if for future gastric sleeve patients that need to lose weight before their surgery. Do not follow this recipe if you already had your surgery.
