Turkey Meatloaf

INGREDIENTS:
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp (10 grams)
- Heinz organic ketchup - 6 tbsp (100 grams)
- Yellow onion - 1/2 medium (80 grams)
- Garlic clove - 2 medium (8 grams)
- Olive oil - 1/4 tsp
- Egg, whole - 1 large (50 grams)
- Rolled oats, uncooked - 1/2 cup (50 grams)
- Sea salt - 1 tsp (6 grams)
- Black pepper, ground - 1/2 tsp
- Ground turkey, 90%+ lean, uncooked - 1.3 pounds (600 grams)
- Broccoli, cooked, boiled or steamed - 12 oz (350 grams)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F or 175°C. In a small bowl, combine the worcestershire sauce and 2 tbsp of the ketchup and put aside.
- Chop the yellow onion and garlic. Add the yellow onion together with olive oil to a small frying pan on medium-low heat. Fry for about 2 minutes, then add the garlic. Fry until the onion is translucent.
- In a medium bowl, combine the egg, onion and garlic, oats, the remaining ketchup (4 tbsp) and salt and pepper. Mix properly. Then add the ground turkey and mix everything together.
- Thoroughly mist a loaf pan with olive oil and place turkey mixture into the loaf pan. Spread the worcestershire and ketchup sauce on top and spread out evenly. Bake uncovered for 55-60 minutes, remove from oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve together with 2 ounces of preferred vegetables. *Recipe uses steamed broccoli as an example.
*Note: Divide equally by the listed number of servings. Stays fresh in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
